Our carry out regular that never disappoints. Steak subs are fantastic!

If I am eating Italian, I am going to Illano's J&P for a superb meal. Use to be a small sub shop where I use to get dinner years ago, as a Trooper, but has grown up to an excellent Italian restaurant. The food is well prepared, and service is very fast and courteous. Parking can be an issue. and there is extra in the back. I always look forward to a night out for dinner at J&P.

Nice beer selection, friendly staff, good vibes.They have an inside and outside area. You can sit at the bar or grab a table. The food is perfect for drinking snacks. Definitely coming back.

Had the shrimp and scallops appetizer yesterday and it was AAAAAMAZING!! JP never disappoints!

Best shrimp salad wraps EVER! Lots of shrimp and delicious. You can get it on a subroll too i believe but I always get the wrap. Also, the cheesesteaks are very good. I forget the name of it, (i always refer to it as the fatty cheesesteak) but it has bacon and feta on it, other things too i think. Lol. But it is really yummy. Everytime we are in the area for any reason, we always pick up the shrimp salad wraps even if we aren't hungry, we will eat them later. They are the best!

I grew up in Manchester and have been to J&P a lot. Like, at least twice a year, for my whole life. Always always clean, always friendly helpful staff.

Amazing food, amazing staff, clean and comfortable atmosphere. If your visiting or driving through Hampstead, this place is a local treasure that you must stop at for lunch or dinner! Bread and dough is homemade fresh each day, food is hot, fresh and served in more than ample portions, huge and diverse menu selections (Mainly Italian style selection but also offers Vegetarian, american style and more) plus amazing daily food and drink specials that you won't find anywhere else!!! I would rate higher than 5 stars if I could. Owned by a great local family and a proud supporter/contributor to our small town. We (Wife, Kid and I) love our strong local businesses. J&P ranks at the top. Keep up the great work J&P!!!!

Great pizza, fast service, delicious food

At the first moment you enter this restaurant the personel give you an enjoyable feeling. Very comfortable hosts, it is a nice restaurant to to go out with buddies or with your date. Excellent meals, qualified chef de cuisine, decent price and generous service. Warmly recommended.

Started with Maryland Crab Soup and it was very good. Had the special which was chicken penne pasta in an Alfredo sauce with peas. Very good flavours and the crispy bread crumbs on top with cheese top off the dish. Plenty of Bread too

Consistently nice portions of delicious food at reasonable prices and great service. My favorite Italian restaurant! Been going there for over 20 years and I'll keep going. Best lobster bisque or cream of crab you'll ever eat. Salad is always fresh. Yummy pizza, pastas, seafood, sandwiches. Awesome shrimp salad. Can't go wrong!

Great Food...Great Service!

We like eating at this restaurant but were not completely happy with our last visit. They are using proper guest spacing. The waitress was good. The food that we ate was good. I did have one problem though. I found a hair in my fries and pointed it out to the waitress. I of course stopped eating them. Maybe I was expecting too much but she didn't offer to bring me new fries, a manager didn't stop by to apologize and or nothing was taken off of the bill.

What Mike Illiano and J&P have done for over 30 years in Hampstead, is provide consistently excellent food at bargain prices, in a nice, casual, clean environment. So much of the menu is excellent, I'd honestly say there's nothing on the menu that's not at least "good". The seafood pasta dishes are made with quality, fresh morsels, free of shells. Free of cheap, small sized shrimp or scallops. The subs are great, the appetizers are great. The pizzas are great. Sure-fire hidden gem in a small town.

Few businesses can claim to have enriched the lives of a community as much as Illiano's. Fresh authentic Italian food, prepared with care and served in pleasant, casual, setting is the secret to success of this enduring Carroll County landmark.

Crab cakes had lots of filler. Would not ho or coupons. Did not say it excluded drinks.

Best pizza in Hampstead, MD. They make their own crust. Even toss it up in the air, you know old school. The sea food dishes are fresh. The breads, melt in your mouth. Never had a bad meal there.Get there early before the town comes to eat! There usually is a line at peak times on Friday. The rest of the week is great. Yumm.

Nice people but the Lasagna tastes very salty. The Sauce is lacking flavor and not enough ricotta cheese.

Food is always good it's time I ordered seafood scampi on angel hair pastathe order came with more bread than I could eat meal was outstanding and Mike the bartender is always very friendly
